GRAHAM (Joudrey), Effie Joyce – 76, Truro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, September 30, 2016, at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Upper Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Lawson and Ella (Fleming) Joudrey. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Department of Marketing and Economics of Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Bible Hill. A former resident of Elliot Lake, Ontario, she also worked at Columbia Pharmacy. Effie is survived by her daughter, Ellamaria, Truro; sons, Frankie, Maurice, Truro; Russell (Nancy), Bible Hill; grandchildren, Amanda (Howie), Jennifer (Joe), Jonathan (Savannah), Chance, Jason; great granddaughters, MacKenzie, Madelynne, Natallia, Jersey, Ella May; great grandson, Jaze; sister, Iris Janes, Truro; brother, Russell (Edena) Joudrey, Truro; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank; sisters, Ruby Sutherland, Winnie Lemmon. Private graveside interment service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, East Stewiacke. If so desired, donations in Effie’s memory to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia are welcome.
