McNUTT (Snow), Hope – 78, Truro, formerly of Kemptown, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 2, 2016, at home. Born in Upper White Head, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Carrie (Monroe) Snow. A dedicated and loving wife and mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Foster Faulkner McNutt and son, Everett McNutt. Hope is survived by her children, Doug McNutt (Natalie Balsam), Truro; Marie (Randy) Parks, Fredericton, New Brunswick; Cathy (John) Brookhouse, Truro; Donnie (Marg) McNutt, Petawawa, Ontario; Debbie (Doug) Pelham, Truro; sister, Shirley Geddes, Ontario; brother, Donald Snow, Ontario; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Neil Bower and his assistant, Fran, Sue Gibbons from Palliative Care and all the staff from the VON who assisted us with Mom’s care. Private interment will be held at a later date in Watson Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Hope’s memory to Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre or VON are welcomed.
