Passed away in the presence of his loving family, at the Palliative Care Unit, St. John's, on Sunday, October 2, 2016, Maurice F. St. Croix, of Path End, St. Mary's, aged 67 years. Predeceased by parents John and Mary Ellen St. Croix, sister Madonna Short, brother John St. Croix, parents-in-law George and Marcella Rowsell, sister-in-law Kay St. Croix and nephew Kevin St. Croix Jr. Leaving to mourn his wife of 41 years Mary Margaret (nee Rowsell); brothers: Kevin (Bonnie), Gus (Helen), George (Marie) and Gordon (Judy), sister Darlene (Dave Harding) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including his homecare worker Sandra Dobbin. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Wednesday, October 5, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 6, at 10 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow.
