The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday October 3, 2016 of Wilbert J. Perry of Tignish aged 70 years. Beloved husband of Patricia Perry nee Rummerfield. He was born in Summerside on March 20, 1946, the son of the late Johnny and Mae (Chaisson) Perry. Dear step-father to Cassie, Allana, Louise (Scott) Wilson, Peter, Theresa, Cathy, John and step-grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Loving brother to Henry (Elaine) Perry, Rosebank; Robert (Marlene) Perry; Annie (Eddie) Bernard and Peter (Estha) Perry all of St. Edward. He was predeceased by parents Johnny and Mae, brother George, sister Melda, common-law wife Fern and mother-in-law Nel Rummerfield. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Thursday 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday October 7, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
