HARRY PERIERA
February 24th, 1925 ~ September 29th, 2016


It is with great sadness that the family of the late HARRY PERIERA of Burin Bay announces his passing at his home in Burin Bay on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son, Edwin (Janice) of Fort Nelson, BC; daughter, Edwina (Gerard) Baker of Creston South; sisters, Pauline (Doug) Newbury of St. John’s, Mae Hollett of Grand Falls, and Muriel (Patrick) Fitzpatrick of Brooks, AB; sister-in-law, Leet Periera of Fortune; 6 grandchildren, Aimee (Jamie) Clarke, Cheryl Baker, Michael (Holly) Baker, David Baker, Kenny (Leslie) Rose, and Scott (Lisa) Rose; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Rose; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan; parents, Joseph & Margaret Periera; and brother, Joseph Periera.

The Funeral Service took place at the Salvation Army Citadel, Creston South on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Salmonier.

In Harry’s memory donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
