Kimberley Hope Getson

Kimberley Hope Getson (neé Thomas) of Saskatoon, SK passed away suddenly on October 5, 2016, at the age of 55. She was born in Moose Jaw, SK on March 21, 1961. Kim married the love of her life, Brian R. Getson, on November 14, 1981. They have three children: Beau (Emily Colborne) Getson, Dex (Heather) Getson, Hope (Jerid) Rist, and one beautiful granddaughter, Norah Kimberley Marie Rist. Kim had a passion for her family and friends. She was empathetic towards others, and always had a positive outlook on life. Kim strived to be the best version of herself in her physical, emotional and spiritual life. Her loyalty to her friends never faltered because relationships were always her top priority. Her unwavering faith in the Lord was inspirational. Kim is predeceased by her Father Wilfred Thomas. She will be missed by her husband, Brian; mother, Beverley (Gerry) Murtagh; sister, Kathleen (Bradley) Demkey; brother, Calvin (Perri) Thomas; father and mother-in-law, Brian and Ruby Getson; sister in law, Vicki (Guy) Riendeau; numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Kim will fondly be remembered for her countless to-do-lists, green juice, and her warm, genuine smile. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 1:00 PM Lakeview Free Methodist Church, Corner of Hwy 16 East and Boychuk Drive, Saskatoon, SK officiated by Pastor Dean Angel.
