Beloved husband to Kitty (nee Buote) Leard. Born at Alberton on March 11, 1951, he was the son of the late M. Roy and Gladys M. (nee Cousins) Leard. Loving father to Jason Leard and Alex (Lisa) Leard of Alberton. Cherished grandfather to Brandon, Madison, Riley and Bennett Leard. Dear brother to Alan (Lynda) Leard of Mill River East. He is survived by a niece, Gladys (Ivan) Foster of Alberta and Matthew (Joni) Leard of Mill River East. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, Alberton, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Lynn McKinnon officiating.
