Margaret (Peggy) DONALDSON
It is with great sorrow that the family of Peggy Donaldson announce her passing on Monday, October 10, 2016 in the MacGillivray Guest Home. Born in Sydney on September 28, 1919 to the late Joseph E. and Amelia (Barrie) MacNeil.
Peggy worked for the Ford Motor Co. in Richmond Hill, Ontario and upon coming home worked for the Chicken Chalet in Sydney River.
Peggy is survived by her sisters, Ann Landry (Everett), Joan Cunningham (Vincent) and brother, Patrick MacNeil all of Sydney. She was predeceased by step sisters, Marie, Sadie and Catherine; sisters, Cecilia Leveck and Dorothy Stewart; step-brother, John; brothers, Edward, Robert (Marguerite), David, Donald (Marie) and Alexander.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 13 at Holy Family Parish in Westmount with Fr. Doug Murphy officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.twcurry.com.
