Florence Elsie Curts
July 8, 1923 – October 11, 2016
Florence will be missed as the matriarch of the family. She was a World War II Veteran as well as a life-long member of the Paddockwood Legion and Royal Purple. She loved to travel, play cards and was an avid sports fan. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her children: Barbara, Gary, Brian (Heather), and Deborah; her grandchildren: Terry (Lois), Michelle (Anton), Candice (Kurt), Nikki, Jaimie, Rob (Arianne), Joe (Michelle) and Sarah; her seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law: Clara Wiberg and Gusta Thorsen. Florence was predeceased by her husband Alvin in 1995. A Private Graveside Service will be held and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The Family wishes to thank the Staff and Residents of Birchview Nursing Home for the extreme kindness and care given to Florence in her final days.
