Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his loving family and friends, on Thursday, October 13th, 2016, Sean Burke age 53 years. Predeceased by his mother Josephine Burke and brother-in-law Frank Ryan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 18 years Sherry (nee Hillyard), sons Daniel and Patrick, his furry companion Carlee, father Cecil Burke (Anne), siblings: Cathy, Trudy, Susan (Don), Stephen (Sandra) and Jodie, parents-in-law Marguerite and Roland Hillyard, brother-in-law Geoff (Jeanette), nieces and nephews: Frank, Shane, Sarah, Adam, Blair, Brandon, Michael and Evan; special friends Doug and Cathy Bennett and Debbie Keough; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Siddiqui, nurse Joyce Rose, Corinne Humby, Dr. Downton, Dr. McCarthy, and all the staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre and 4 South B at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Paul's Church, Newfoundland Drive.
