Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family and friends on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Kingston General Hospital Kingston Ontario. Predeceased by his father Henry and mother Eleanor. Leaving behind his loving wife Helen White, daughter Jennifer, son Peter, sister Paula (Danny Vineham), brother Rob. Mike will be greatly missed by the Cowan and White families, including his nieces, nephews. Mike valued and appreciated the relationships with his numerous lifelong friends and was grateful for the place they held in his life. Family received friends at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy), Kingston, Ontario, 613-546-5454 on Sunday, October 16th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Liturgy of the Word in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 17th at 11 am. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery, 2563 Division St., Glenburnie, Ontario.
