We, the family of the late George William Donovan, wish to offer our gratitude to our family, friends and neighbors for their kindness, condolences, sympathy cards, food, flowers and donations. A very special thanks to those who travelled to be with us at this difficult time. Thank you to those who attended the wake and the Funeral Mass. A special thanks to Fr. Ray Huntley, the pallbearers and those who participated in the church service honoring George’s memory. We are grateful to the Cape Breton Search and Rescue for forming an honor guard; George truly enjoyed the years he spent with you. We wish to express our sincere thanks to all the physicians, nurses and the other staff members who cared for George, especially Dr. Farrell, Dr. Tarakji, Dr. Wong, Dr. Wilks and Dr. McGory and the many ICU staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Your care and dedication will always be appreciated. Thank you to V.J. McGillivrary Funeral Home for your patience and professionalism.
