We, the family of the late Gordon “Turk” Stewart wish to thank
everyone for their kindness while Turk was in hospital and during our recent bereavement. Thank you to Dr. Buzaid and staff of the Emergency Dept . and CCU, CBRH, 3rd floor staff, Glace Bay Hospital.
Special thanks to Dr. Ley, our long time family doctor. Thank you to Michelle and Angus of Patten’s Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism during this sad time. Special thanks to the honorary pallbearers, members of Dominion Old Timers Hockey team; Cecil MacQueen, Rudy and Ronnie MacDougall, Donnie “Squeeks” MacDonald, Johnny “Hockey” MacDonald and Chuck Jamieson. Thanks to Rev. Duncan Roach for the beautiful service, Charles Yorke for the eulogy and Linda Stewart for the readings. Thanks to all those who attended the visitation and funeral service, sent food, memorial donations, flowers, sympathy cards, made phone calls or just thought of us that day.
We will not forget the kindness of everyone.
