FLORENCE MARY LAKE
October 29th, 1954 ~ October 17th, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late FLORENCE LAKE of South East Bight announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, October 17th, 2016, at the age of 61. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Don of 42 years; son, Shamus (Lacey) of South East Bight; daughters, Sherry Lake (Robert Ducey) of Marystown and Trudy Kenway (Todd) of Baine Harbour; sisters, Anne Whyte of Jerseyside; brothers, Bill (Mary) White, Tony (Tilley) Whyte, John (Kathleen) Whyte and Pat (Clara) Whyte of South East Bight; sister-in-law, Margaret Whyte of South East Bight; brothers-in-law, Martin Murphy of Marystown and Michael Martin of Placentia; 6 grandchildren: Rylie, Kelyn, Landon, Chloe, Tanner and Kiera; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Patrick & Agnes Whyte; sisters, Theresa Martin & Mary Murphy; brother, Vincent Whyte.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in South East Bight on Wednesday, October 19th, at 11:30 a.m. Interment followed at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
