It is with profound sadness that we said good bye to a husband, father, grandfather and uncle on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. With his family gathered around him, at the age of 81, Jack Ursu slipped away peacefully to be with God after courageously battling health issues for many years. Jack was predeceased by parents, Nick and Mary Ursu; and brother John. Left to mourn his loss is his wife of 60 years, Carolyn; daughter, Cindy (Robert) Haynes and their children, Nicole, Danielle (Anthony) Curry and Caitlin; daughter, Lorrie (Bu) Fugoso and son, Andrew; and daughter, Holly (Mike) Verokosky and their children, Meghan, Matthew, Mikila Deschner, Ric and Jordan. Jack will be lovingly remembered as a man of deep integrity and high family values, bringing joy to anyone who heard him play the piano or played ball with him. Jack touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all. The care and compassion the nurses and doctors at the Pasqua Hospital showed him and the support of the staff of Queen Victoria Estates are greatly appreciated.
