Betty Ann “Elizabeth”  Gallant

With warm memories in our hearts, we announce the passing of (Elizabeth) Betty Gallant on November 4, 2016 at the Colville Manor. Born in Souris, PEI June 12th, 1940, she was the eldest daughter of the late Cecilia (Cahill) and Andrew McIntosh. Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Cyril Gallant. Cherished mother of four daughters Lisa (Billy) Underhay, Deneen (Ken) Norring, Monique (Douglas) Cox and Natalie (Paul) MacDonald. She was a loving "Nan" to 8 grandchildren; Samantha and Jesse Deutscher, Keaghan and Rowan Norring, Danielle and Michaela Cox, Christian and Tyler MacDonald, all of whom she was extremely proud. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty is survived by her aunts Teresa Babineau and Joan McIntosh, brothers Frankie, Jimmy, Paul, Donald, Eric and Ian McIntosh and sisters Faye (Chishom), Arlene (Aurora) and Deborah (MacGregor), all of whom were very close to her heart. Fondly remembered by her many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her parents, brother Andy, sisters-in-law Lauria Gallant, Julia Gallant, Linda McIntosh and Laura McInosh, brothers-in-law Camille Gallant, Joe Gallant, Aubrey MacGregor and Charlie McQuaid, nieces Paula Brown and Bernadette Victor, nephews Paul LaBrech, Andrew Gallant, Darren McIntosh and grand-nephew, Jordan White. Visitation to be held at Dingwell Funeral Home Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Wednesday afternoon, November 9, 2016 to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Alexis Cemetery, Rollo Bay. In consideration of family with extreme allergies, please refrain from wearing any scented products, perfumes or colognes.
