It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Rowsell announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Anita (Lee Bennett); son Joe (Kim) Hennifent; grandchildren Samantha, Angela and Michael; great-grandchildren Avery and Ayden; sisters Gloria Pittman (Bill) and Cheryl Abbott; brothers Glen Abbott (Carolanne) and Randy Abbott (Dianne); brother-in-law Ed; her lifelong beloved friend William MacDonald, his daughter Tammy MacDonald and her children Braden and Connor; her special buddies at Country Haven, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Annie Abbott; sisters Debbie Marks and Laverne Buckle; brothers Tony and Berril. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at the Country Haven Funeral Chapel, 167 Country Road on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
