Molly Radke (nee Gaja), late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 89 years. Mom was born February 5, 1927 in Mendham, SK. The family moved to Carrot River and it was there that they enjoyed the farm life. Mom met Dad, Marquis Radke, in Carrot River and in September, 1949 they were married. Mom and Dad loved spending time at Candle Lake where they had many close friends who enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and just relaxing. Molly will be lovingly remembered by her children: Donna (Ross), Bruce (Tammy), Perry (Diane); daughter in-law: Sharon; her grandchildren: Michael (Kristy), Shauna (John), Carson (Danielle), Curtis (Stacey), Alicia (Andy), Kealey, Stephanie (Kyle), and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren: Drake, Ethan, Jayde, Cadence, and Brody; her brother: Joe (Carrolyn); her sister in-law: Dorothy, Darlene (Lloyd), and Lee; her brothers- in-law: Gilbert (Evelyn), Clillard (Norma), Earl (Jackie), Bill (Bev), Jim (Marie), Mervin (Darlene), Dennis, and Ed; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Molly was predeceased by her husband: Marquis; her son: Brian, her grandson: Landon; her parents: Joseph and Josephine; her sister: Gertie; her brother: Leo; her in-laws: Walter and Vera; her brothers- in-law: Abe, Clinton, Gordon, Fred, Glen, Larry, and Walter; her sisters- in-law: Isabel, Betty, Gladys, and Clara. We would like to thank Kopera Care home for the wonderful care provided. Mom especially liked the home-made baking, thanks Shelly. We would also like to thank Dr.Kriel and the staff at the Victoria Hospital 5th floor for their kindness and understanding. In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Molly may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Calvary United Church, 114 25th St. E, Prince Albert, SK. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium.
