Ida Elizabeth Ryland passed peacefully into eternity on November 16, 2016 at the age of 86 years. The funeral service was held at the Vang Lutheran Church, north of Wetaskiwin and east of Millet, Alberta, on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Louis Morin officiating. Interment followed at the Vang Cemetery. Donations to the Gideons International or to a charity of the donor’s choice are gratefully accepted.
