Tilsley Manley, Susan Heather - It is with great sadness we announce the death of Susan Tilsley Manley, Durham, Pictou County on Saturday, November 19, 2016.
Born on November 17, 1965 in Kingston, Ont., she was a daughter of Bea (MacKenzie) Tilsley Cunningham (Jim) and the late John William “Jack” Tilsley.
Susan is survived by her devoted and loving husband, John Manley, daughter Lydia and son Tom, sister Kimberly (Glen Covey) and several nieces and nephews.
She was a person of many talents and passions. A talented artist, gifted teacher, loving wife, devoted mother and loyal friend. Susan embraced life (and chocolate) with infectious enthusiasm and passion. She was a loving person - with a big personality, a big smile and a very big heart. Her passing leaves a big hole in our lives.
Susan is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, with visiting on Wednesday, November 23, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A celebration of her life will be held at Scotsburn United Church, Scotsburn, Pictou Co. on Thursday at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating. Interment will be in Durham Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the arts program at Scotsburn Elementary School.
