JOYCE LOMOND
July 31, 1935 – November 21, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Lomond (nee White) announces her passing on Monday, November 19, at the Long Term Care Unit of Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 81 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Joyce was the daughter of the late Cora May and John Thomas White. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edgar in March of 2009, son Stanley, and brothers in law; Soleman, Harold William and sister in law Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are Joyce's children; Beverly (Lloyd) Osmond, Sherry Kettle (Sean) all of Bradford ON, Terry (Goldie) Kettle Fort McMurray AB, stepdaughters; Shirley Hulan (Junior) Amanda Mclean (Daniel), six grandchildren; Craig, Krista, Justin, Nicole, Lisa, Stephen, 10 great grandchildren; Ethan, Paris, Taylor, Logan, Kayleah, Bentley, Grayson, Adeline, Emily, and Charlee. Sisters; Georgina, Tryphena, Ida, Eileen and brother Edgar, best friends Dorothy and Cecil Allen, Jean Kettle and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Thursday, November 24, 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, officiated by Lieuts. Tonia and Christopher Street, interment followed at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Flowers graciously accepted, donations can be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Port aux Basques.
