It is with great sadness the family of Alice Hartson of Salt Pond announces her passing on November 20th, 2016 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 91 years.
Leaving to mourn sons Pius (Jacqueline) of AB, Joseph (Theresa) of NS and Edward of AB; daughters Loretta White (Jim) of St. John's, Geraldine Walsh (Kevin) of St. John's and Adele Walsh (Gerard) of Little Bay; grandchildren Lana, Gerard, Glenn, Gina, David, Derrick, Dennis, Tanya, Collin, Aimee, Joseph, Michael, Jason, David and Jeffrey; great grandchildren Brandon, Madison, Gabriel, Jenna, Bilal, Huda, Marshall, James, Seth, Jacob, Joshua, Lauren, Claire, Courtney, Chantelle, Willow, Jacob, Jacob, Averie, Brianna and Keira plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband James; brothers Alphonsus, Bernard, Sylvester, Michael, Thomas, Patrick and Joseph and sisters Mary, Gertrude and Adele.
Father James Fleming officiated Funeral Mass took place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin on Wednesday, November 23rd with interment following at RC Cemetery, Salt Pond.
Pall Bearers were Edward Hartson, Joseph Hartson, Pius Hartson, Brandon Hartson, Gerard Walsh Jr., Mario Walsh.
Cross Bearer was Jim Hartson
