Peacefully at Andrew’s of Charlottetown on Sunday, November 27, 2016 of Sister Elizabeth McCarron, Sister of the Congregation of Notre Dame, age 74 years. Besides her CND community, left to mourn her loss are family members; Sr. Theresa McCarron CND, of Charlottetown, Sr. Clemmie McCarron CND, of Charlottetown, Eileen Girard of Winnipeg, Agnes Richard of Toronto, Kevin (Adele) McCarron, Barry’s Bay Ont., Sheila (Gerald) Mitchell of Charlottetown, sister-in-law Eileen (McGee) McCarron , as well as many nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Apart from her parents, James R. and Cecelia (Steele) McCarron of Sturgeon, PE, she is predeceased by her sister Mary McGuigan, her brothers Leo, Donald, and James McCarron, sisters-in-law Ann (Harvey) McCarron, Elizabeth (Burke) McCarron as well as by her brothers-in-law, Theodore McGuigan, Emile Richard and Roger Girard. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
