1932-2016
Leigh passed away at home surrounded by family Sunday November 20th, 2016. Leigh was born in Glengarry Prince Edward Island on January 09th 1932. Leigh is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Donna (nee Cousins) his sons Darren and Owen (Cynthia) and daughter Alia, Grand daughter Molly, Brother Glen, and brothers and sisters in law: Marion Thomson, Thane and Ruth Cousins, Warren and Barbara Cousins, Carol Thomson, John and Bethany Cousins, Fred and Barbara Eagle, George and Beth Cousins, Rosalie and Trevor Webb, Rolande Thomson, and many loving nieces and nephews. Leigh is predeceased by his parents Harry and Ethel Thomson, his brothers Lorne and Alvin, sister Joyce MacLean, brother in law Bert Thomson. Leigh left home in 1951 and worked his way across the country with CN and CP Rail before finally settling in Prince George in 1965 where he worked as a lineman with BC Tel for 31 years retiring in 1996. Leigh loved his cars and sports and was always content sitting in his chair enjoying a newspaper and doing the crossword.
