Passed peacefully away on September 19, 2016 at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility in the presence of her daughter Anne who is grateful to God for Mary's long life. Predeceased by her husband: E.S (Stan) Hoskins (2008); sister: Katherine Fleming (Thomas - deceased) of North Sydney N.S.; in-laws: Lillian Hoskins and her brother Jack Hoskins, Angela and Jack Coleman and Cecelia and Ken Hickey; nephew: Ken Hickey Jr. and niece Maureen Fitzgerald (nee Coleman). Leaving to mourn her daughter Anne; nieces: Angela Gibbons and Mary Lou Fleming and nephews: Thomas Fleming Jr., Mike Fleming, Angus Fleming, Pat Fleming and Michael Coleman. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Angela and Sandy Gibbons, Marg Follett and her sister Theresa Murray, Leo Offspring, Chaplin Rick Maher and Rev. Jim Russell for their spiritual support, the staff and residents of Bonaventure Retirement Home for their help and support and the bereavement support group at the Daffodil Place. A small graveside service was held in the presence of a few friends and relatives on Saturday, September 26, 2016.
