Peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at the age of 76. George, beloved husband of Rejeanne Pelletier-Gallant. Loving father of France (Steve), Andrew (Joyce), Brenda (Dave) and Jenny (Tim). Proud grandfather of Josh, Dylan, Owen, Sara, Luke, Bethany, Ben and Emily. Left to mourn are his three brothers and three sisters; Gordon (Pearl), Harvey (Bernadette), Gary (Marlene), Bernice Doiron (the late Martin), Louise Doiron (Elmer), and Kathleen Hughes (the late Terry). George was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Marion, his sister Shirley and brothers Charlie, Walter, Erwin and Cody. A celebration of George’s life will be held in the Reception Centre of James Reid Funeral, 1900 John Counter Blvd. Kingston (Please enter from the rear parking lot) on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 3 – 5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre would be appreciated by the family.
