Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Friday, December 16, 2016, William P. Lake, aged 81 years of Southern Harbour. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary Laura. Left with fond and loving memories are his sisters Mary Hickey, Ida Hickey, Margaret Noftall, Anna Gaulton, Imelda Kennedy, Sandra Ward; brothers James (Mary), Gerald (Betty); and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Christ the King Church, Southern Harbour. Funeral Mass was held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from Christ the King Church, Southern with interment at the Christ the King Cemetery, Southern Harbour. In his memory donations may be made to the Clarenville SPCA. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fewer's Funeral Home.
