Marie Anne (nee Caissie) Arsenault

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday December 20th, 2016, of Marie Anne (nee Caissie) Arsenault formerly of St. Chrysostome at the age of 90. Marie Anne was born in Egmont Bay on November 3, 1926, daughter of the late Théodore and Elizabeth (Lisa) Caissie Arsenault. Marie Anne was the beloved wife of the late François (Franky) Joseph Arsenault and loving mother of: Corinne (Julien) Bernard, St Philippe, Raymond (Celine), St. Chrysostome, Edmond (Eddie) (Claudette) Egmont Bay, Louise (Abel) Arsenault, Moncton, Rita (Roy) Gallant, Abram’s Village, Claire (Fidèle) Arsenault, Cape Egmont, Eunice (Donat) Richard, Urbainville, Leonce (Elaine), St. Chrysostome, Jeannette (Vincent) Gallant, Egmont Bay, Edgar (Stella), Urbainville, Eldon (Vicky), St. Chrysostome, Noëlla (Steven) Compton, Trenton On., Yvon (Sheila), St. Chrysostome. Cherished grandmother to 37 grand children and 39 great grand children. Will be forever remembered by her brothers and sisters: Joseph (Alphonsine), Maximeville, Evangeline, Le Bel-Age, Yvonne, Le Chez-Nous, Antoine (Paulette), S’side, Alfred (Irène), Wellington, Rosie, S’side and Camille (Geraldine), Montaque. Also survived by brother-in-law Albert (Norma) Arsenault, Joseph Gallant, Peter (Rose) Arsenault, Alyre (Corinne) and sister-in-law Louise Arsenault. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, a great grand-son Olivier Arsenault, brothers Alyre, Léo, Jean-Pierre, sister Alodie and Ella. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Friday December 23rd , then to the St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Fr. Albin Arsenault. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday December 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Marie Anne’s memory to Le Chez-Nous and St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
