Robert Joseph Devison

It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Robert Joseph Devison after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 21, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Naish and Shirley (Sheppard) Devison. Bobby was a retired coal miner and his passions were fishing, hunting and living in Oyster Cove. He is survived by brother, Jimmy; nephew, Jimmy (Sandra); great-nephew, Dale; great-niece, Linsey (Nathan); great-great-nephews, Easton and Grey. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister-in-law, Rita. Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, from 2-4 p.m. at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main Street, Glace Bay.
