Passed peacefully at Garden Home on Wednesday, during the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2016 of George Alexander Taylor of Charlottetown, formerly of Millview, age 82 years. George is survived by his sisters - Elvira Stewart (Kenneth) and Ramona Campbell (John), his aunt, Helen Callahan of Vernon River, sister-in-law, Ruth Taylor and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Leah (nee Judson) Taylor, brothers - Edison Taylor, Ernest Taylor and John Taylor and sister Sylvia Lamont. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1 - 1:45 p.m. Funeral service will follow visitation at 2 p.m. at the Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cherry Valley Memorial Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
