Lillian Ruth Hagell

We, the family of Lillian Ruth Hagell, are saddened to announce her passing on December 24, 2016, at the MacGillivray Guest Home, where she had been a resident for the past 2 years. Lillian was born in Neil’s Harbour, CB to the late John and Lucy (Poole) Knott. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert Hagell and her children, Dawn (Amar) Menon, Dartmouth, Larry (Sandra), Lunenburg Co., John (Lisa), Calgary, Carol (Keith) Ferguson, Sydney and Philip (Colleen), Victoria, BC. She is also survived by grandchildren, Philip, Stephen and Karen Menon, Charlene Kuhn, Christine Hagell, Mary and Robert ‘Bobby’ Hagell and Melinda MacDonnell, Matthew and Andrew Ferguson, Sarah and Daniel Hagell and six great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Wilson and Randall; sisters, Laura, Betty, Maude, Sue and Eileen.
Funeral service will take place Wednesday, December 28, at 11 a.m. in St. Albans Church, Whitney Pier, with Archdeacon Brenda Drake officiating. Interment will take in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, at a later date.
