The death occurred peacefully at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, P.E.I. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 of William (Bill) Ernest Pineau of Fernwood, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Bill was a teacher for many on P.E.I. and in London, Ont. The family of Bill would like to thank the Hospitals, the Villa, Doctors, Nurses and Staff for their excellent care of their brother Bill. Born in Fernwood on February 6, 1933. He was the beloved son of the late Amos and Agnes Cecelia (Blacquiere) Pineau. Bill is survived by sisters and brothers, Georgie (late Charles) Cope, Moncton, N.B; Alvin (late Anna) Fredericton, N.B; Charles, South Shore Villa, Crapaud ; Marion (late Fred) Howard; Moncton, N.B; and Vernon (Gloria) of Stratford, P.E.I. Pre-deceased by brothers and sisters; Edna, Louis, Edward, Hazel, Lorraine and Theresa. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home. No visiting hours by personal request. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay with funeral mass at 11 a.m. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to the St. Peter's Parish Cemetery Fund.
