With profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Etienne Frank Lava on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Born in Brantford, Ontario on May 3, 1967 he was the son of Frank and Dinah (Nee: Sioen) Lava. Leaving to cherish with loving memory are his children Jacob and Kimberley, his new love Janice MacBeth and children Cody and Lauchlan. Also mourning his loss are siblings Theresa (Ivan) Hardy, Rose (David) Viaene, Eric (Hilary) Lava, best friend and cousin Gary Sioen along with a large circle of extended family and those who called him a friend. Etienne was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife Cindy (Nee: Crane). Arrangements entrusted into the care of Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the family will be accepting visitors on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Montague on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
