It is with sadness and fond memories we announce the passing of our father Harold J. Power, 83 years of Calvert on Dec. 29, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a courageous battle with COPD. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn (1982), his parents Arthur and Mary Frances, and his sisters Catherine (Kitty) and Loretta. Leaving to mourn his loss are his children and their families; Brian (Michelle), Ann Marie, Sylvia, Gerard (Pamela), Kevin (Jeanie), Adrian (Susan), Ron (Dawn); grandchildren, Evan, Leah (Neil), Kayla (Chris), Justin (Michelle), Jason (Stacey), Mark (Vanessa), Laura, Ryan, Matthew, Blake (Sydney), Hailey, Naudia, A.J., and Samantha; great-grandchildren Lydia, Caroline, Jedd and Brendan. Also mourning his loss are his sisters Aggie Hartery & family, Ann Baddcock & family and the Sullivan (Kitty) and Trainor (Loretta) families; a very special friend, Anna Windsor and the Windsor family. Thank you to the staff of 7 West at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Dr. Peter Morey, Eastern Health Clinic, Ferryland, and Dan O'Brien for the excellent care they provided to our father. Resting at Faheys Funeral Home Fermeuse, with visitation on Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 1-4pm, Sunday 3-9pm with mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11am from Immaculate Conception Church in Calvert.
