It is with heavy hearts that the families of Albert Gordan Gillingham announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, January 1st, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Mary nee Combden of 57 years, his children: Terry Gillingham (Fay), Guy Gillingham (Sherry), Marion Ropson (Keith), Phyllis Davis (Eugene), Gordan Gillingham (Vicki), Audrey Gillingham (Clarence), Lorna Ricks (Jason), and Keith Gillingham (Pamela), his grandchildren: Denise, Jerry, Teri, Jenny, Julie, Guy, Jenelle, Jonathan, Geneva, Dylan, Jordon, Waverly, Keisha, Jacquelyn, Jessica, and Chase, his great-grandchildren: Alexander, Nicholas, Summer, Edie, and Gemma, also a large circle of brothers, sisters, and their families, niece, nephews, and friends. Albert was predeceased by his parents: Bessie and Job Gillingham, his sisters: Margaret Chip, Carrie Combden, and Jeanette Gillingham. The family will be receiving family and friends at the St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church in Pollard's Pt, NL, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, January 5th, 2017, at 2;00 pm, with Bishop David Toraville officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery.
