Peacefully at the Kings County Hospital on January 1, 2017 the passing of Lawrence Francis "Buddy" Campbell age 88, of Lorne Valley, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Wilson) Campbell occurred with his family by his side. Born December 3, 1928, he was the son of the late Jervis and Florence (nee Trainor) Campbell. Buddy is survived by his children, Larry (Cyrilina), Kevin (Anna), Gerard (Donna), Emmett, Marie Crane, Cathy (Johnny) Grande, Danny (Lisa), Freeman (Gladys) and Raymond (Charlene); cherished 30 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sisters Betty Trainor and Mary Campbell. He was predeceased by a son Brian, grandsons Jason Campbell, Douglas MacLean; daughter-in-law Debbie Campbell; brothers Francis, Cecil, Johnny and a sister Marguerite. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at St. Cuthberts Catholic Church on Thursday January 5 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
