It is with deep sadness we announce the death of James P. Leslie, age 82, of Fairfield, CT. James passed away on December 7, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia to the late James and Helen Leslie. James was a retired machinist and a long time resident of Stratford, CT, before moving to The Ludlowe Center in Fairfield, CT. James was predeceased by his sister Wendy Leslie. He is survived by his three children Denise Aviles and husband Frank, Kevin Leslie and wife Sandra, and Brian Leslie; his former spouse Carol Leslie; six brothers and sisters, John Leslie and wife Katherine, Patricia Gaston and husband Wayne, Maureen Speranzo and husband Frank, Rita Duda, Ronald Leslie and wife Mary Lou, and Catherine Cooper; three grandchildren, Paul Jackson, Shannon Jackson and Patrick Jackson; one great grandson, Tristan Torres; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital.
