GEORGE FREEMAN REID
September 25, 1925 – December 31, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Freeman Reid announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, December 31 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 91 years. Born in Codroy, he was the son of the late George and Lillian May Reid. He was predeceased by his brothers William, Nathan, Walter, Arthur, sister Charlotte and brother in law Edward Samms. He leaves to mourn with many loving memories his only sister Dorcas Samms of Kingston, Ontario and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday, January 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy from where the funeral service took place on Thursday, January 5, at 2 pm officiated by Rev. Harold Harvey. Interment followed at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
