NAIRN FISHER ROBERTSON
December 4, 1996 - December 28, 2016
You would have known him as a tall, soft spoken, gentle and friendly young man. He loved to play the piano and Guild Wars 2, volunteered at the Gibsons Wildlife Centre and had a magical way with animals. He was a voracious reader of everything and loved to hike, explore and cut trails to the adventures he had in the Soames Park forest. He was fascinated with "How Stuff Works" and left trails of screws and tools behind from the stuff that didn't. He relaxed by skipping stones from the beach in Davis Bay.
He was a warrior and often overcame considerable health challenges with a tenacity and stoicism that inspired us all. On December 28th he left us. We will miss his smile, his wit, his charm, his laugh and his hugs.
We would like to thank the staff of BC Children's Hospital and Sechelt Hospital for their many years of support, and everyone at the University of Alberta's Transplant unit.
Nairn is survived by his mother, Tina Heal and father Chris Robertson; step-father Russell Kellett; sisters; Abby and Hannah Kellett and Nicola Robertson; brother Josh Kellett; uncles Dean and Tony Heal and Eric Robertson; and cousin and best friend, Amun Robertson-Audette.
In lieu of flowers, the families suggest donations to the Gibsons Wildlife Centre:
