Elvin Bernhardt Sorensen, aged 83 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his devoted family, on Saturday, January 7th, 2017. Elvin was born on April 4th, 1933 in Coleville, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, Magnus and Mary; son-in-law, Bernie Bouvier; granddaughter, Danielle Bahr; parents-in-law, Delbert and Ethel Costley; and brother-in-law, Allan Costley. Elvin leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 62 years, Grace; daughters: Terri (Ronald) Alix, Karen Richmond, Kristine (Chris) Oleson, Linda (Matt) Grismer, Maxine (Vic) Wall, and Sandi (Rob) Bogdan; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Ellis will officiate and interment of cremains will take place at a later date.
