Erik Allan Donald ERIKSON “Allan”
November 24, 1924 – January 9, 2017

Our kind and gentle Dad / Grandpa passed away January 9, 2017 at the age of 92. Allan was predeceased by his wife Jean. He is survived by his children: Les (Jo-Anne), Dave (Susan), Randy (Irene), Linnea and Wanda (Dave) and his 9 grandchildren: Joshua, Christina, Dylan, Kyle, Simon, Donald, Kailey, Jonathon and Sarah. Allan was a loving and devoted family man. He was active in his community, volunteering for many causes. Allan and Jean were honoured for their community service in 2001 by being chosen as Mr. and Mrs. Winter Festival. Allan was an avid supporter of the Co-op, the Credit Union and Calvary United Church, working on many boards and committees. Allan was an award-winning dancer, photographer, bowler and cribbage player. He was a member of the Geneology Society and was always interested in people’s family histories. Allan spent his final years at Mont St. Joseph’s. He appreciated the staff and their wonderful care. Allan will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He always had a compliment for everyone. In honour of Allan’s steadfast faith, we ask that in lieu of other tributes, memorial donations be made to the Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 1S5. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating.
