Janet Florence SLATER
November 22, 1954 – January 10, 2017

It is with much love that we celebrate the life of Janet Slater. Janet was born November 22, 1954 and passed at the age of 62 on January 10, 2017 with her family by her side. Janet loved spending time with family specifically her grandchildren, spending time at the lake and travelling with close friends. Janet will be lovingly remembered by: her husband David; her daughter Jennifer Slater (Michael Minto) and their children Cadence, Emmitt, Zachary, Mackenzie and Kevin; her son Blair Slater (Jeannine Soderberg) and their children Kayle, Patience and Zoey; her brothers Dan DeMong (Carol), Brian DeMong, Ron Grenier (Christine); her sisters Judy DeMong (Dave), Jackie Langlois; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Janet was predeceased by: her parents David DeMong in 1960 and Marie Grenier DeMong (LeBlanc) in 2008. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
