It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose Kennedy announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the age of 75 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Peter; step-sons Michael and Shawn (Darlene); step-grandson Tommy; sister Hilda Muggridge; sister-in-law Regina Mullett; brother-in-law Samuel; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Mary Anne Pike; sister Blanche Curtis (David); brothers-in-law Frederick Muggridge and Ted Kennedy; sisters-in-law Margaret Manthey and Theresa Boccok. In keeping with Rose's wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Interment will take place at Rose's home town in Winterbrook at a later date.
