CORPORON, Marie Bernadette "Bernice" - Age 84 of Wedgeport. With broken hearts we announce the passing of our Mame and grandmere, Marie Bernadette "Bernice" Corporon on January 12, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born in Richibucto, NB on March 15, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Adolphe and Pauline (Richard) Robichaud. Bernice worked at Villa St-Joseph for a time, after which she worked as a pre-school teacher with Les Petits Copains in Wedgeport. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Krafve, Wedgeport; siblings, Adolphe (Dianne), Moncton, N.B.; Jane Hebert, St. Louis, N.B.; Deanna Robichaud, Richibucto, N.B.; Yvonne Richard, Rexton, N.B.; grandson, (Junior) Paul Pothier (Kathy Brittain); step-grandson, Kirby (Stephanie) Krafve; step-great grandson, Kale Krafve; godson, Adolphe Hebert. She was predeceased by her husband, Ferdinand Corporon, whom she met in Toronto where they had both gone up looking for work. Also predeceased by sons, Myron and Calvin; son-in-law, Bud Krafve; siblings, Tilmon, Maxime, her twin, Irene, Marie and Margurite Ann. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Wedgeport with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, January 15 in the Wedegeport Funeral Home with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral mass was held on Monday at 2 p.m. from Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albeni d'Entremont officiated.
