Clifford Daniel Pierro, 43 of Wagmatcook, NS passed away Jan 17,2017 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. He was the son of the late Alice (Pierro) Paul and grandson of the late Roderick and Mary Theresa (Isadore) Pierro.
He is survived by brothers, Douglas Paul Jr., Stephen (Nancy), Roderick, Charles (Lexis), Alexander of Waycobah; sisters, Evelyn Pierro, Danielle Paul, Dominque, April of Waycobah; godmother, Florence Bernard; uncles, Patrick of Halifax and Kenny of Wagmatcook; aunts, Karen (Phillip), Waymatcook, Lora, Ontario, Wanda Waycobah; great aunt, Mary Victoria Googoo, Waycobah and Kathleen Pierro, Wagmatcook great uncle, Francis (Babe) Pierro (Anna K.) and 14 nieces and nephews. Besides his mother and grandparents he is predeceased by his uncles, Melvin and Edward; aunts, Ida, Mary Theresa and godfather, Charlie Louis Bernard.
He will be missed by his family and friends, many of his friends were from Halifax where he lived for many years. He had the love of the city in his heart; he also loved to travel seeking many adventures. He was known to many as a kind hearted person, who loved caring for small kittens when he could. The family is grateful for his special friend, Terry of Halifax who looked out for him over the years. The family would also like to thank Miranda and Jeff, kind friends who were always there for him and the doctors and nursing staff of the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Visitation will be held at the Wagmatcook Elders Center., Fishery Road in Wagmatcook, starting Sunday, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., Jan 24, 2017 at the Blessed Kateri Tekekwitha Parish with Rev Paul Abbass Officiating.
Burial will be in the Queen of the World Cemetery following the service.
