MUISE, Herbert Maurice – age 86, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, formerly of Melbourne, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born April 11, 1930 in Melbourne, he was a son of the late David & Ellen (Gaudet) Muise. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Theresa Marie (Babineau) Muise, Yarmouth, as well as by a daughter, Mary Helen and son-in-law Dwayne Murphy, Yarmouth and daughter-in-law, Ann Muise, Massachusetts; granddaughters, Christine and Shannon Muise, Massachusetts. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Gary Herbert Joseph Muise; brothers, Stephen, Clifford and René; sisters, Lena Melanson, Kattie MacDonald, Annie LeBlanc and Mary Boudreau. In accordance with Herbert’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Yarmouth and there was no visitation. A funeral mass was held at 2 p.m., Friday January 20th at Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. Interment took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Melbourne.
