September 23, 1952 - January 26, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael (Mikey) Anthony Doyle, at his home in Gatineau, QC, formerly from Parkdale, PEI. Michael passed away quietly in his sleep. He is survived by his wife Lyse Chartrand; sons Michael, Corey DesRoches (Wendy Murray), step-son Alex Laplante and his cherished grandson Xavier Laplante. Beloved son of the late Peter and Colleen (Tiny) Doyle. Lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers: Patsy (Brian) Gill, Joe (Gisèle), Terry (Bonnie), Marlene MacIntyre (Randy Reid), Valerie Kott, Danny (Rita), Kevin (Lyne Grenier), Mary Theresa Sharkey (Ivan Walsh), Carol Doyle, Christine (Leslie) MacDonald and Pete. Michael will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, his best friend Pierre Lafrance, all his friends where he has worked and all those at the racetrack. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be a celebration of Mike’s life at a later date.
