DEVEAU, Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene – age 57, of Salmon River, passed away on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born on December 1st, 1959 in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Thomas and Annette (Muise) Deveau. Kenny was a husband, a father, a brother, as well as anything else he needed to be for his loved ones. He spent over 30 years working with Canada Post and spent many years involved with the scouting movement. Kenny is survived by his strong and faithful wife, Debbie (Muise) Deveau; his two loving children, Jennifer (Neil) Riphagen, Victoria, B.C. and Alex (Jenna Landry), Moncton, N.B. He also leaves behind his two siblings, his brother, Charles (Brenda) Deveau and his sister, Donna (Patrick) LeBlanc, both from Yarmouth. He will be missed by many other family members and friends whose lives he has touched with his loving personality. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth where visitation was from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, January 28th followed by a celebration of life at 2 p.m. in the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Deacon Stephen Bourque officiated with an Aboriginal Service by Spiritual Leader Leland Surette. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Diabetes Association or Scouts Canada.
