It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna Power announce her passing on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Ethel (Ray) Brace, Ada (Lloyd) Gillam, Gerald (Donna), Barbara (Marty) Roberts, Kevin (Brenda), Grace (Keith) Kennedy, Annette (Brian) Rowsell, Michael (Peggy), Tony (Kim) and Hubert (Seletta); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; daughter in-law: Maxine, son in-law: John Kartechner; siblings: Irene, Margaret, Eli, Rodney, Norman, and Hubert; special friend: Leonard Noseworthy; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ignatius (Nash); daughters: Kathleen and Georgina; son: David; and parents: Samuel and Josie Ingram. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday, January 29th at 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 30th at 2:00 PM from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. A very special Thank You to Dr. Coleman and the Nurses and Doctors at Western Memorial Hospital for your kind and compassionate care of Mom during her stay there.
