With heavenly hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Doris Agnes Daniels, at the age of 90 years at Extendicare Nursing Home on Thursday, January 26th, 2017. Doris was born in Riverhurst, SK and received her education there. She worked at the Providence Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK. She married Harry Daniels on July 4th, 1948 and together they raised 3 children and were married for 68 years. Doris enjoyed gardening, Warrior hockey games, baking bread, cinnamon buns and pies, and doing ceramics. In later life, Mom developed dementia but you knew that she could still put you in your place. Doris had a wonderful smile that you could see for miles. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; parents, Louis and Selma Larson; sisters: Hilda, Mabel, Lily and Gladys; and brother, Eugene. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ken (Rae); daughters, Donna (Dave) Rennie and Cindy (Paul) Navin; grandchildren: Sarah (Brad) Wilcox, Larry Silzer, Kory (Vicky) Daniels, and Kale (Molly) Daniels; great-grandchildren: Oliver, Henry, Marley and Kingston; as well as numerous other relatives. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
